We believe learning never stops, even when school's out! And what better environment to support your child's growth than the natural world? In addition to our Forest School Nursery we offer Holiday clubs which run on weekdays during the school holidays...
A brilliant start, whichever setting you choose Learning at Little Crickets Bournemouth is hands-on and child-led. Our babies feel safe and secure with consistent routines and close care, our two-year-olds grow in independence as they learn to dress themselves and use the toilet, and our pre-schoolers build the early reading, writing and number skills they'll need for Reception. Along the way, there's always something exciting happening, from den building and fire-pit sessions at Forest School and Beach School trips from Park School to Sports Day at Dean Park, visits from firefighters and friendly animals, and community projects like Bournemouth in Bloom.
We are here to support busy working families and that's why we are open 51 weeks of the year, from 8am to 6pm. Children attending our Forest School are kept busy and stimulated, with plenty of time to enjoy creating, playing, exploring and learning.
From our youngest babies to pre-schoolers getting ready for school, every room at Little Crickets Bournemouth is designed around a child's stage of development, so they can grow in confidence as they move up.
Our events provide a fantastic opportunity for families to visit us and experience everything Forest School has to offer. Visit our Events page to find out more and to book. We look forward to welcoming you.
Rain or shine, learning carries on outdoors! With six acres of open space around Dean Park, a classroom teepee at Forest School and covered outdoor areas at Park School, our children make the most of every season.
